Process Filters
Process filters are compact, ready-to-use filtration devices designed for efficient clarification and sterilization of liquids and gases in laboratory and industrial applications. Available with PES (Polyethersulfone) and PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) membranes, they offer high flow rates, low extractables, and excellent chemical compatibility. PTFE process filters are ideal for aggressive solvents and gases, while PES process filters are best suited for aqueous and biological solutions.
Specifications
- Filter Media: Available with PTFE or PES membranes to suit solvent, gas, or aqueous filtration.
- Pore Size: Common ratings include 0.2 µm and 0.45 µm for fine and sterile filtration.
- Housing: Durable polypropylene capsule with integral inlet and outlet connectors.
- Application: Used for sterile filtration, solvent clarification, gas filtration, and sample preparation.
